Many of us, as parents, grandparents, and pro-life advocates, are frequently called to wade out into the unknown. Whether in everyday parenting or having tough conversations about life issues, we are asked to take on hard cases, overwhelming diagnoses, and difficult behaviors.

Whatever mission field God has called us to, we often live it out through the small, mostly unseen, and unremarkable moments. All we need to do is just take one step at a time – one hug, one soft response, one deep breath for extra patience.

The Life Letters: We Aren’t Meant to Walk This Journey Alone

We need people who cheer us on, listen quietly, or show up with meals. We need people to come alongside and hold up our arms when we get weary, because we will, and just as importantly we need to do the same for others.
