Even though culture screams at us to keep going at all costs and white-knuckle through life, I don’t think that is what God has called us to do. He offers us a better way.

The seasons of silence and waiting can be uncomfortable, but it does not change the fact that God is a loving father. He wants good things for his children, but He also knows and sees things that we do not.

At the end of the day, the fact remains that no matter how they arrived, children are a blessing from the Lord—the rest is just details.

The Life Letters: Chosen

Whatever mission field God has called us to, we often live it out through the small, mostly unseen, and unremarkable moments. All we need to do is just take one step at a time – one hug, one soft response, one deep breath for extra patience.

The Life Letters: It’s Not About What We Bring to the Table

We now had six children under the age of 10 and three with intense special needs. My old SUV contained four carseats, and I walked around town with a double stroller with an attachable hover board for a third rider.
