Make Your Pro-Life Voice Heard at Oregon March for Life

The annual Oregon March for Life is rapidly approaching this spring.

For decades, Oregonian pro-life advocates marched on the January anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case legalizing abortion across the United States in 1973. But beginning this year, the march will be held in May, commemorating when Oregon legalized abortion in 1969.

This year’s march will be held on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 2:15 p.m. at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem. A band will kick things off, followed by speakers at 2:30 and then the march directly afterward. Bring your family and friends and join thousands of pro-life advocates of all ages to participate in this inspirational event.

“Your presence at the March is powerful,” says Oregon Right to Life Executive Director Lois Anderson. “Oregon does not have a single protection for the unborn throughout all nine months of pregnancy and that must change.”

“Until it does, we will continue to gather, remembering the lives lost to legal abortion and renewing our commitment to advocate for both babies and mothers.”
