Support Pro-Life Rule: Your Comment Needed!
On May 18, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, under President Trump’s instruction, proposed a new rule for the Title X (ten) family planning program. It will bar abortion providers like Planned Parenthood from receiving taxpayer funding through Title X. The new rule will redirect funds to about 4,000 Title X service providers that do not provide abortions.
This is a huge step toward removing tax dollars from Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. If implemented, the Protect Life Rule will cut roughly $50 to $60 million of Planned Parenthood’s $543.7 million in taxpayer funding.
