Oregon Teen Wins Oratory Contest

Ruth Hailey, Oregon’s contestant in the 2019 National Right to Life oratory contest, received her first place award from Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee. Hailey won the Washington County and our state oratory contests in order to qualify. She traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to compete in the national event. Ruth delivered her winning speech at the closing banquet of the convention and was honored with a standing ovation. Congratulations, Ruth!
