I am writing as a pro-life Oregonian to urge you to oppose House Bill 4127.

I am increasingly frustrated by how my tax dollars are being used in Oregon. Too often, it feels like taxpayer money is treated as a blank check for political priorities that most of us do not support. HB 4127 is another example of that disconnect.

HB 4127 would force us as taxpayers to provide special funding for a highly controversial organization while very real and urgent needs are being ignored right now. Oregonians are struggling with the affordability of our state, yet instead of prioritizing these urgent needs, the legislature continues to funnel more public money toward an abortion business that already receives significant funding, does not reflect the values or priorities of most taxpayers, and whose non-abortion services are already widely available from other sources throughout the state.

HB 4127 is not about compassion; it is irresponsible stewardship. Our tax dollars should be directed toward services that unite Oregonians and provide tangible help to families, not toward divisive causes that leave many like myself feeling ignored and unheard.

Please oppose HB 4127 and choose more responsible and broadly supported uses of public funds.
