HB 4135 has passed through the Oregon House and Senate.
It is now on its way to the governor’s office.
End of life decision making has been protected under Oregon statute for almost 25 years. As said before, HB 4135 removes those protections and may endanger vulnerable Oregonians who have Alzheimer’s or dementia.
There were many pro-life legislators who voted against the bill. It is important to tell those legislators just how thankful you are they stood against this bill. At the same time, there were legislators who voted for the bill and have proven they do not care how it may lead to the withholding of food and water from conscious but incapable Oregonians.
It is important to tell your legislators whether you are pleased with their vote or not.
When you fill out the form to the right it will locate your elected legislators and send them a custom message, depending on their vote.
