Chapter Purpose
A chapter of ORTL is the essential community-based building block in our vision to restore a culture that supports life-affirming, life-saving, and life-sustaining decisions.
The primary purpose of a local chapter is to:
- Educate individuals and the general public about pro-life topics, including fetal development, abortion, infanticide, abortion alternatives, and euthanasia.
- Share information to persuade individuals to choose life for unborn children, support mothers, and protect those threatened by assisted suicide.
- Provide leadership for grassroots efforts dedicated to protecting life in the chapter’s region.
- Inform the ORTL state office about injustices impacting the vulnerable in their community.
- Offer a way for people to be involved in the pro-life movement in their own community.
- Encourage advocates to gather together at ORTL events, including the March for Life and the Together We Advocate conference.
- Promote fundraising efforts for the state office as well as their own projects.
