Canvasser
Part-Time
Keizer, OR (On-Site)
About the job:
Oregon Right to Life’s canvassers work at the lead and strategy of our political advocacy team to increase connection with voters in targeted races in Oregon.
The voter outreach specialists help materialize our voter contact program. They work together, speaking directly with voters door-to-door.
Additional responsibilities:
- Work with the political assistant, contacting voters to achieve statewide voter contacts goals
- Set individual goals for voter contact and self-motivate to meet them
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with voters and team members
- Must have access to a smartphone
Desired qualifications:
- Available to work in Marion & Polk counties
- Dedication to pro-life values
- Experience working or volunteering on a campaign
- Familiarity with the G Suite, Zoom, and other common digital tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work both independently and on a team
- Ability to adapt quickly to accomplish changing goals
- Ability to master new skills quickly

Compensation and Benefits:
$21.00/hour, minimum 15 hours per week, maximum 30 hours per week.

Office Manager/Executive Assistant
Full Time
Keizer, OR (On-Site)
Purpose: To serve the staff and advocates of Oregon Right to Life by maintaining a professional and efficient contact with the public and a safe and inviting work environment. Also, this position will provide the Executive Director essential support.
This is a single full time position with benefits.
Office Manager Responsibilities
- Assuring a professional and friendly contact both in person and on the phone.
- Monitor multiple email accounts.
- Open and close the office daily.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues with office equipment. Schedule maintenance when required.
- Coordinate office based volunteer projects.
- Coordinate document management and archiving.
- Schedule and direct Safety Committee meetings.
- Schedule use of conference rooms and assure that the rooms are set up properly.
- Assist in updating shared Google calendars as needed.
- Light housekeeping, supervise cleaning contractor.
- Administrative support tasks and errands including working with bulk mailings.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedule for executive director.
- Provide administrative support for executive director.
- Prepare documents for quarterly board of directors meetings and board committees.
- Assist in producing events: Oregon March for Life & annual conference.
- Coordinate and schedule office building maintenance.
- Organize staff birthday and holiday parties.
- Manage equipment contracts.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Commitment to the goals of Oregon Right to Life
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to work with a variety of people
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with a minimum of supervision
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Mail, database programs and internet.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.
- Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies.
- Handle repetitive light physical tasks.
- Drivers License and excellent driving record.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
