It was amazing to see so many pro-life advocates at the Oregon March for Life in Salem this year!
From showing up to the March to participating in our diaper drive to help moms and families across Oregon, pro-life Oregonians demonstrated their commitment to our vital shared mission: to protect unborn babies and support moms.
With this amazing momentum behind us, I want to make sure you know about Celebrate Life Month this June.
What is Celebrate Life Month?
Celebrate Life Month is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court decision in June 2022 that overturned Roe v. Wade. It provides a perfect chance for individuals and families to join with pro-lifers all over Oregon and to build on the Dobbs victory by taking pro-life action.
Why Participate in Celebrate Life Month?
Dobbs didn’t end abortion, but it did give more power to ordinary people to work toward a state, a nation, and a culture where every life is protected under the law. Celebrate Life Month provides an intentional time (and easy steps) to help you choose a branch of pro-life advocacy and take action to help moms and babies in your community in simple yet meaningful ways.

How Do I Get Involved in Celebrate Life Month?
- Go to ortl.org/celebratelife to explore the “branches” of pro-life advocacy
- Choose one or two things within your branch to do
- Take action! Take photos or videos and/or write down some notes about how you got involved so you can share them with us and be entered to win a prize.
What Are the “Branches” of Advocacy?
We’ve identified three “branches” of pro-life advocacy to help you take action for life this Celebrate Life Month:
- Pregnancy Resource Center Support
- Grassroots & Sidewalk Advocacy
- Supporting Families in Your Community
You can click on each branch for ideas about how to get involved – each one has many opportunities for involvement. Have an idea that doesn’t fit neatly within those branches? That’s great, too! Feel free to get creative.

Ultimately, Celebrate Life Month is about building a culture of life.
And that happens one action at a time – one box of diapers donated, one hour of prayer outside an abortion facility, one friend or family member compassionately counseled to choose life. And that’s something to celebrate!
The more people participate, the more life-affirming stories will be told. The story shared by one pro-life advocate can inspire others, creating a ripple effect of pro-life action that can change hearts and save lives.
