Salem, Ore. — Today, Oregon Right to Life PAC (ORTL PAC) is announcing the endorsement of Mark Jones for Josephine County Commissioner Position 2.

Mark Jones retired from a career in the fire service in 2018, and currently serves as Commissioner on the Josephine County Rural Planning Commission. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Josephine Housing and Community Development Council, serves as Foundation Director for the Grants Pass Rotary Club, and is a member of a local citizen-run fire safety group.

Jones has stated that he’s running for office “in hopes of bringing people together again” and restoring “care, concern, and compassion to this community.”

Oregon Right to Life Political Director Sharolyn Smith said, “Mark Jones is a dedicated public servant who has put his life on the line during his career to keep his community safe. He is also a staunch advocate for mothers and unborn babies.”

“Pro-life advocates and families in Josephine County would be deeply fortunate to have Mark represent their interests in the county,” Smith said.
