Letter to Parents

Dear Pro-Life Parents,

I attended my first Camp Joshua in 2002. As a high school sophomore who was actively pro-life, I thought I knew what I needed to know in order to get through the rest of my high school and college experience while being steadfastly pro-life. Little did I know, Camp Joshua would soon prove me wrong!

Do you know that the majority of high school teenagers consider themselves pro-life? But did you know that, by the time they graduate from college, the majority are pro-choice? This is not because college students learn the truth about abortion by any means! Rather, it is because they don't know why they are pro-life in the first place, and so when they start to hear the very strong pro-choice presence on college campuses they start to believe that perhaps the pro-choice movement is right about abortion. This is why Camp Joshua is so important. Once students enter Camp Joshua, they will be taught why they are pro-life and they will be able to defend their beliefs to their peers and become a pro-life person of action.

You may be wondering if your teen or college student should go to Camp Joshua. Well, let me give you a few qualifications that we look for. Is your child:

• Pro-life?
• Interested in leadership?
• Passionate and energetic?
• Interested in politics?
• Interested in doing charity work?
• The leader of a pro-life group at school?
• Interested in being more involved in the pro-life movement?
